The Dischidia platyphylla is a part of the same family as Hoya and native to tropical areas of China and India. Dischidia can be a lovely plant to grow in the home, they add a lovely brightness to any room and work great as hanging plants.
A beautiful trailing plant to cascade down off shelves and cupboards.
It is a succulent, so adept at storing water in its plump, colourful leaves, it does not need much watering. Super low maintenance and tolerant of lower light levels. They are also air purifiers removing air pollutants from your home.

- Light: Thrives in bright indirect light but tolerant of lower light levels. Ideally have some dappled sunlight in the mornings, so ideal for a east facing window sill.
- Watering: Not too frequent – allow soil to dry out before re-watering. Water thoroughly and allow the excess water to drain out of the nursery pot drainage holes. Ideally do this over a sink.
- Humidity: A junglist at heart, so prefers humid environments so perfect for bathrooms and kitchens but is also tolerant of normal humidity.
- Pets: Not pet safe.

Worried about not being in? No need, we're happy to leave your plant in a safe place. In the shed, under the red bin, with a neighbour, wherever suits you! Just leave us a note at the checkout.
We make deliveries every Wednesday and Saturday, your preferred day can be selected in the drop-down menu at the checkout. If neither of these work for you, get in touch and we'll see if can arrange something. Likewise, if you would like a plant to be delivered as a gift on a day other than Wednesday or Saturday, please get in touch and we'll see what we can do!
